5:59 pm - The Rolling Stones CD-Maximum Edition
veuzer A couple of weeks ago I have bought the last CD needed to gather the entire, almost unavailable for purchasing The Rolling Stones CD-Maximum edition series. But I never got around to advertising this. So let me now share my joy with everyone. This is an awesome edition with thick double page spreads, text looseleafs and about 8-10 bonus tracks to each album. I don't like all these releases, but to possess the whole additional material I've mentioned above I bought every CD. They haven't been released since mid-2000. Before I've collected all this I found a place to download it all from in FLAC:

Vol. 1 The Rolling Stones
Vol. 2 England's Newest Hit Makers
Vol. 3 12 X 5
Vol. 4 No. 2
Vol. 5 Now!
Vol. 6 Out of Our Heads (USA)
Vol. 7 Out of Our Heads (UK)
Vol. 8 December's Children (and Everybody's)
Vol. 9 Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) (USA)
Vol. 10 Aftermath (UK)
Vol. 11 Aftermath (USA)
Vol. 12 Got Live if You Want It!
Vol. 13 Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) (UK)
Vol. 14 Between the Buttons (UK)
Vol. 15 Between the Buttons (USA)
Vol. 16 Their Satanic Majesties Request
Vol. 17 Flowers
Vol. 18 Beggars Banquet
Vol. 19 Through the Past Darkly
Vol. 20 Let It Bleed
Vol. 21 Get Yer Ya-Ya's out!
Vol. 22 Sticky Fingers
Vol. 23 Stone Age
Vol. 24 Milestones
Vol. 25 Exile on Main St.
Vol. 26 Gimme Shelter
Vol. 27 Rock 'n' Rolling Stones
Vol. 28 No Stone Unturned
Vol. 29 Metamorphosis
Vol. 30 Rolled Gold

All you Stones lovers enjoy your meal!

12:51 pm - lame...

luthercoleman
last night i was supposed to work as a caterer at the concert in boston. i would be running food and alcohol to the 6th floor sky-boxes at the garden until nine, right around the time the boys would go on. most likely, as happens at the concerts i usually work, some drunk person i'm delivering beer to would invite me to come hang out in the sky-box and i would have a great [and free] view of the concert.

but my boss called me when i was half-way to boston yesterday morning to tell me that all the food runners got canceled. so disappointing...

Wow.... I just got home from seeing the Rolling Stones in concert. Talk about a bad ass show!!! I was kinda bummed when I saw where our seats were, but once I sat down, the seats were awesome!!! Los Lonely Boys were supposed to open for them, but one of the guys got sick, so they cancelled. I was a little bummed out about that, but hey, I went to see the Stones anyway! Of course, they started out with Start Me Up and played a few songs, then Keith Richards got up there and did his 2 song set,so I decided to go check out the merchandise. Well, me and mom were standing there and I heard them say here's Dead Flowers, I took off, fuck the shirt! then realized I didn't tell mom, so I ran back to grab her and made her run back to our seats. Dead Flowers is my all time favorite song by any artist there is out there! Anyway, so we all jammed to it and my night was complete! so 2 hours later, the concert was over.. It was definately one to remember!

Last night I saw the video for the new Rolling Stones single. It gave me chills. This was the first time a Rolling Stones single has done that.

The boys are back, after their long road through the wilderness. They know what they're doing again. They've found their sound again.

The new album promises to be great, and I could not be happier.

I got my tix this past Saturday for the show in Houston on December 1st!! I can't wait! I saw them a couple of years ago at Reliant Stadium which was good, but this time they will be at the Toyota Center which is a much smaller venue! December can't come soon enough!!!

I'm 17 and from New York. I like pretty much anything from the 60s, especially the Stones of course. I hope to be making more posts in the future, this seems like a cool community.

LONDON - Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts (news) is being treated for throat cancer, a spokesman for the band said Saturday.

Watts, 63, was diagnosed in June and has completed four weeks of a six-week course of radiotherapy at London's Royal Marsden Hospital.

"He is expecting to make a full recovery and start work with the rest of the band later in the year," the spokesman said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

He said Watt's treatment had not interfered with any tour or recording plans for the Stones, who have been "relaxing between work commitments" following a world tour last year.

Known as the most laid-back member of the band he joined more than 40 years ago, Watts has also performed with a variety of jazz ensembles.

Hey everyone, I'm a 14 year old Stones fan from Australia. I got into them when I was about 12, and now I'm a fan, EXCEPT I don't have any studio albums. I want to get some from the big 1968-72 period. Can anybody suggest some. My favourite Stones song is Sympathy For The Devil, by the way. Also, has anyone else found the secret Keith Richards interview on the Pirates Of The Caribbean DVD? I can't remember the instructions right know, but I can find out if you ask.

(x-posted)

So I was digging through old pictures to put on my Photobucket account and found all my old concert pics from 2 years ago in Philly. I posted maybe 3 or 4 awhile back, but I found a lot more. Some of them are kinda shitty and the quality isn't the wonderful, but hey, they're better then nothing!
